As we begin the final month of 2025 on the heels of Thanksgiving & Black Friday, my inbox has not only been inundated with rock-bottom-deals, but also with tons of 2025 year-in-reviews and 2026 astro-predictions. I’m so here for it.
Sagittarius season is leading us up to the pinnacle of the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night, when Capricorn’s sea goat takes the reigns to help us scale up winter’s proverbial mountain. I have a Sag stellium in my 5th house, so I’m partial to this time of year, where we can channel the energy of the warmest of the Zodiac’s winter signs, when the power and focus of the fiery centaur-archer carry us all head-first into the biting cold.

We’ll tap into the archetypes, elements, and human design gates of the season together, and then I’ll guide you on a 45 minute conscious-connected breathwork journey that focuses on shedding our old skins and harnessing the visionary prowess of Sagittarius.

From the Hermit-Snake to the Fortune-Fire-Horse
We are leaving behind the year of the Hermit-Snake. This year has been a Wood Snake year in the Chinese cycle, associated with wisdom, intuition, and transformation. 2025 is a Hermit year in the Tarot, which symbolizes introspection, soul-searching, and personal growth, as well as a numerological 9-year, the final culmination of a 9-year cycle.
Many of us have spent this year slithering along the in the grasses near the roots of change, tapping deep into our internal resources and wisdom, as the external world of politics, business, and beyond have presented us with one shocking and unbelievable situation after another.
But in 2026, we enter completely new energetic territory. Next year is the year of the Wheel of Fortune-Horse. (2026 added together is 10, which is the Wheel of Fortune card in the Tarot, and in the Chinese Zodiac, the year of the Fire Horse begins on February 17, 2026. ) In the 9 year cycle of numerology, 2026 is a 1 year, with 1 + 0 reducing to 1.
A 1 year is pure spark, initiation, and new beginnings. The Wheel of Fortune symbolizes cycles, change, karma, and destiny. It represents the unpredictable and often random nature of life, with both fortunate and unfortunate events, encouraging a flexible and adaptable mindset to navigate both highs and lows. And the Fire Horse signifies a year of intense energy, passion, and change, amplifying the Horse’s natural traits of independence and speed with the dynamic power of fire.
Viewed together, this triad of symbols couldn’t be further from the energy of the Hermit-Snake. While 2025 has been filled with inward reflection, deep transformation, solitude, and shedding old layers, 2026 will be far more active, fiery, passionate, and filled with external change and fresh starts. As we make our way through Sagittarius season, my mind is struck by the parallels between the Wheel of Fortune Fire Horse and the mutable fire sign of the Centaur Archer. As I feel into the energy of the season, I have a felt sense that next year’s Fire Horse Wheel of Fortune energy will move with the same wild velocity as Sagittarius, both galloping toward destiny with untamed fire, instinctive risk, and a trust that the horizon always holds the next lucky turn.
