Thank you 🙏✨ I was wondering, is it more helpful to you if I listen to you content on sub stack or pocket casts? or does it matter.

It doesn’t matter really! I think Substack has a nice community vibe and ability to comment and such, but any podcast player works!

At around 21:30 of the episode, you said, "The truth is that the two-party system here is so completely bought and sold by the richest people in the world that the nation-state hardly matters any more."

And that, my friend, is speaking my language!

You went on, "What matters most is keeping people afraid and distracted with blame and vitriol for each other so that the extraction economy can continue along its course."

Indeed.

And thus, while I can disagree with you about some of the details of your perspective, and agree on others, and even possibly disagree on who the better of two terrible choices (again) for president/vice president was, I earnestly believe that doesn't matter.

Now, I have to make a confession: While I was regularly listening to your show in late spring and early summer, it's been a few moons since I tuned in so you may have already spoken about this next topic in an ensuing episode. If so, please let me know if you remember which one, so I can listen. But if not, I'd love to hear you talk about the Human Design system's concept of the change in 2027 from the Cross of Planning to...what is it... the Cross of the Rising Phoenix? (Sorry, I've forgotten).

If you have any thoughts, how does this play into where we may be going? One way I (sort of think) I understand it is that the whole notion of top-down planning, which concepts like the nation-state and the corporation are built upon, will be slowly but surely replaced in the common years by a more small-c community approach that favors the individual and his/her creative instincts. (I feel like this topic might be a great one for an episode during cosmically philosophical Sagittarius Season)

This is why when I went to a Zoom call yesterday hosted by a lovely gal who was hoping to create "unity from diversity" and I heard some people suggesting things like how to get involved in the current political system, I didn't deny them their agency, and instead just talked about how we from an astrological and Big Picture cyclical perspective, we are in a HUGE transition right now---and will be the next few years, and that it was only around 2026 and 27 when we'll start having better clarity about things we may do either individually or collectively.

I don't want to deny anyone's response-ability, or deny people spending serious time brainstorming with others or even forming groups to help midwife this new world (even when we don't know what this new world will look like). However, since 2020 when my knowledge of these cycles has deepened, I also have often told people they can go easy on themselves and not feel the pressure many seem to be feeling to get their hands dirty and save the world right now. I tell them this mostly because the timing isn't right but also because there's a real danger to the Savior complex and I think we are seeing that play out in some of the world's so-called leaders and wealthiest individuals.

Okay, that's certainly long enough for a response---and you can only blame yourself, Allison, lol, because at the end of the bit I quoted, (which, again, was spot on!), you said, "I'd love to hear your perspective on this, I really believe in an open discourse ... I'd love to hear what you have to say."

(Oh, on that note, for those of my subscribers reading this as a Note, I'm aware that I've not been posting anything new on The Archetypal Lens over the past several weeks, but two things about that.

1) I'm not sure HOW yet, but come 2025, I expect I will be doing more writing of original posts, instead of simply notes like this one (as valuable as I think these are).

2) If you really want to hear what I have to say right now, you can always listen to my podcast, which I have been publishing an episode for every day of 2024 and will continue until December 31, 2024 when I will crack some champagne, pound it and punch myself in the face for ever committing to such a project! In all seriousness, just as I am in my writing and Notes like this one, I am both playful AND serious at the same time over there and you never know what you're going to get. You might even get to hear my stuffed animals do a "solo" episode without me when I'm burnt out!

Yea! Astrology is so vague about it.

I’ve been doing some research on HD’s language around it, and it’s super interesting. If we look at the Rave Mandala/I’Ching wheel from Human Design as it’s placed around the Zodiac, that system says the equinox point is entering gate 55 (Gate of Spirit) from 2027 to 2438. 55 is the last gate of Pisces (from the reverse-zodiac direction that the equinox point is going), and after that it’ll enter gate 30 from 2439 to 2850- this is the Aquarian gate of Desires, which is part of the Cross of Contagion… and seems to me like the true beginning of the Age of Aquarius...

It’s obviously quite a long way off, and I have to sit with that to see if it feels right…curious how this Spiritual gate of Pisces will feel compared to the Friends/Family gate! ♒️

That's fascinating, thanks for sharing it!

It actually DOES track for me in some sense, which is that while I do feel like we are ending a rather long cycle, when I think about the Pisces-Virgo axis and the issues it raises, I can't say that it feels like we've worked through them and are on the brink of the Age of Aquarius.

I've often told people that even when we look at the annual cycle, it's not like March 21st just automatically means we are in full-fledged Taurus season SPRING, with flowers blooming, new life everywhere and warmth in the air. The early (cardinal) seasons can sometimes even revert back to the previous season. Thus, when we talk about a 2,160-year cycle---even if it was determined that the date for the "spring equinox" (i.e. start) of the Age of Aquarius was 2030, it's likely Age of Pisces themes and issues will be with us another few hundred years.

It's why I often turn to my crazy Capricorn stellium and it's ruler Saturn and tell people, as gently as I can (Cancer Rising!) to put on the brakes on the belief that there's going to be some massive enlightenment and leap into the future this decade. Again, I think we can see signs of that, but my 51 years has shown me that we've still got lots of stuff to work out.

To end on a positive note, though, I do think we are on the upswing of the Great Ages cycle, meaning I do believe the Beatles were correct when they sang, "It's getting better all the time." It's just hard to notice sometimes, especially when we look at the Big Picture!

Oops, I have one more thing to end on and that is, while I'll probably mostly be out of teaching kids sometime in the next decade or so, if I still do that kind of work, it will be interesting to see if the 2027-and-beyond kids are as different as I feel like I've heard both Ra and Richard Rudd speak about. I've thought that this is going to be very challenging for educators, if so, but that might be one area where understanding these systems can make us useful---maybe I'll use my astro/HD/Gene Keys skills and insights to help struggling teachers in the 2030s!

Wow, a daily podcast- that’s ambitious! I’ll tune in.

Thanks for your comment- and yes, I’ll be putting out an Astro/HD of 2025 and beyond bonus episode that goes into the 2027 shift to the cross of the sleeping phoenix (aka the equinox procession in Gate 55, the Gate of Spirit).

That, along with all the outer planets changing signs over the next couple years, is definitely ushering in a major collective shift. We’re not in the Age of Aquarius yet- gate 55 and the sleeping phoenix is the last gate of Pisces before the procession of the equinox enters Aquarius, so we’re deep in the end of the Age of Pisces, with deep influences from Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries over the next decade or 2.

As far as ‘ages’ go, we’ve been in Pisces gate 37 since the 1600s (the sun gate of the Cross of Planning), which is the pro-social gate of Friends & Family. The shift to 55 is moving us from a collective consciousness of joining communities and groups for guidance to a new background of direct connection with spirit for guidance.

That’s my 2 cents anyway… stay tuned for the full article!

Awesome, that’s very helpful and I look forward to the article. If I can ask one more question, I’ll save other inquiries until after the article, and that is, according to your understanding when does the Age of Aquarius begin?

I’ve often found it funny how astrology can be so specific but on the question of the great ages, so much up for interpretation. Maybe the HD framework will help us figure that out.

As for the daily podcast, yes, the idea came last December during a very powerful Mercury Retrograde for me (the retrograde cazimi was right on my natal Mercury), and I realized it would be part of my commitment in 2023 to really work with the Saturn archetype: steady, consistent effort over a long period of time.

I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but definitely have learned a lot about myself and what makes me tick. I figure I’ll also draw on the experience for content creation going forward. Last, it’ll be fun in the future to go back to any day in the year and see what I was talking about in 2024.
