Welcome to episode 53 of Cycles of Time Podcast, and the final episode of Season 1! In this episode, I had the pleasure of chatting with the incredibly lovely Jonathan Koe, an astrologer and human design guide, energy healer, musician, and self-proclaimed creative exorcist. I had such a wonderful time getting deep into the waters of his birthday season of Pisces with him, and I’m sure you’ll have some wow moments when you tune into our conversation!
Before we dive into the interview, I wanted to extend my gratitude to everyone who has come along for this ride on the Cycles of Time carouself with me over the past year. I started this passion project last Spring Equinox, and as we reach the last week of Pisces season and can see the horizon of a new cycle right around the corner, I’m feeling so lucky and filled with pride to be able to do this work and share it with you.
Attuning to the wheel of the year on a week-to-week basis for the entire past year has been such a profound journey for me, beyond what I could have imagined when I impulsively jumped into my partner’s recording studio last spring. (Big, big thanks to mi amor Jackson of Spirit River Sound for all the production assistance and guidance in making this whole thing happen)!
Cycles of Time has given me a powerful practice of slowing down to embrace the present moment. In that presence, I have found deeper meaning than I thought possible in the changing weather of the seasons, and have been truly transformed by the mind-boggling wisdom passed down by our ancestors from across the globe.
I am now, and will forever be, in profound reverence to the teachings of the 64 hexagrams of the I’Ching, the 12 archetypes of the Zodiac, the 8 holy days of the Wheel of the Year, the 5 dynamic phases of the Wuxing Cycle, the 4 directions of the Medicine Wheel… and especially to mother earth herself. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
As I enter season 2 of the podcast, I’m really excited to invite YOU along for the journey, in a tangible, embodied way!

Now, onto the interview with Jonathan!
In this final full week of Pisces , I was honored to dive deep into the liminal waters with my Pisces season guest- spirit healer, astrologer, and artistic prophet Johnathan Koe.
I met Jonathan as classmates in an evolutionary astrology intensive, several lifetimes ago in 2019-2020, and have been majorly inspired by his thought leadership in the astrological and spiritual space ever since.
Jonathan beautifully describes himself as “a lunar thinker, a spirit healer, and a creative exorcist. He guides & inspires visionaries, artists, and seekers to re-arrange reality without losing their shit.” I absolutely adore this bio- it feels like a profound call-to-action for anyone who considers themselves a visionary or artist!
Jonathan’s birthday was last week on March 4th, a Pisces sun born in the Human Design Gate of Doubt (Gate 63). My sun is directly across the wheel in Virgo, Gate 64 (the Gate of Confusion), so we had a fun time talking about how these energies - the epilogues to the 64 hexagrams of the I’Ching- show up in our lives. A big part of our conversation centered on the theme of how working with doubt and confusion can ultimately lead to truth, imagination, and illumination. As we approach the lunar eclipse in Virgo this Thursday/Friday with the nodes of fate on the Virgo/Pisces axis, these themes felt extra poignant!

I left my conversation with Jonathan feeling deeply nourished, relaxed, and deeply inspired to embrace this liminal space that we’re in at this moment in time: this space between Pisces and Aries, sleep and wakefulness, death and rebirth, an old cycle and a brand new energy.
