The latest episode of Living the Spiral is up, but I want to start with a short announcement before we get into the astrology.
I’ve been feeling a pull to change how I’m showing up here a little bit- I’ve decided to move away from lunation-by-lunation tracking and into a monthly rhythm. For the forseeable future on Living the Spiral, I’ll be putting out:
a season ahead episode (with rising sign horoscopes) at the beginning of each Zodiac season,
a Magician’s interview where I chat with amazing practitioners about the magic they’re bringing into the world, and
one more open-ended episode each month to hold whatever’s rising- big picture transits, the collective pulse, personal musings, etc.
It’s now my kid’s summer break (as of yesterday), and I’m making this change for me to have a little slower, more spacious season, with more room to actually live in the spiral of the season rather than chasing the transits for a while. <3
This first episode in the new format is a full Gemini season walkthrough.
I cover the six human design gates the sun moves through from May into June, the energetic arc from presence to skills, change to gathering, caution and finally on into the exremes of the summer solstice as Cancer season begins. I also go through each of the major transits of the season ahead, including the Uranus Cazimi that happened on May 22 in Gate 20, the Gate of the Now, the Mars-Pluto square on May 25th, the Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer on June 9th, and Chiron’s ingress into Taurus on June 19th. Full and new moons of the season are included here too, along with their human design gates and overall vibes.
Uranus is in Gemini now through 2033, and this season is the first real immersion in that energy as the sun brings light to the sign of the twins and we feel into these pollinating, buzzy frequencies. Uranus is in the first Gate of Gemini, the Gate of the now, for the next year, and will then move through each of the Gemini gates for about a year each- so pay attention to these archetypical frequencies, as they’re being lit up like lightning for long periods of time over the next seven years!
There’s a lot of electricity in the air, so I invite you to find your breath, use your arms as extensions from your heart in creative play, stay curious and in childlike wonder, and try not to feel like you have to take it all in at once. Like the honeybeee pollinating the meadow, let’s take the month ahead flower-by-flower.
