Hey friends,
Hope you’re all doing well with your eclipse hangovers this week, and that you’ve carved out a little time for some R&R amist the madness.
It might be nice to find some time over this weekend to reflect on how the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle that’s been rocking us since 2023 has changed your world, especially regarding themes of independence/codependence and agency/harmony.
Eclipses are beautiful story-lines that span a couple of years as the lunar nodes transit through a pair of sibling-signs. Because of that, it’s super interesting to look back at the dates that the other eclipses in a certain sign and cycle happened. This week, I found it very interesting to look back at photos from April 2023, when the first Aries eclipse played peek-a-boo with our collective sense of individual will.
April 2023 was a couple weeks after I started this Astrosomatics project and my phone memories revealed that to be the first time I recorded a somatic practice video (on the banks of a river I grew up next to). Until this phone memory popped up, I had competely forgotten about making that video…. but here I am, rounding out the final Aries eclipse, back on the somatic-practice video tip again after a 2-year hiatus.
It was so poignant to look back at that first one that I did- an attempt at sharing my voice and my personal embodiment practices with the world- and to realize how much I’ve grown and honed my practice, my confidence, and my philosophies since then. I still definitely feel like a newborn baby lamb or sprout poking my head out into the world, but the seeds of intention that had time to incubate beneath the surface have had more time to ripen and dream. The Libra south node was all about releasing people-pleasing tendencies or caring too much about what others think, while the Aries north node was all about following your internal spark and claiming your individual agency.
The twists and turns of the past couple of years have dropped me right back where I started, activating desire and hunger in my Aries 9th house and helping me shed outdated stories in my Libra 3rd house… but in retrospect I’m definitely not the same person I was when the Aries/Libra eclipses started their nodal party.
Now the nodes of the moon (and thus, the eclipses) are officially out of Aries/Libra and fully into Pisces/Virgo. And with this transition, I can clearly see how the lessons I learned through the axis of the ram & the scales are important precursors to the lessons that the fishes and the virgin will bring during their reign.
Did this last Aries eclipse on Saturday the 29th close any chapters or give you any deep realizations about your agency in the world? Let me know!
With reflections or without, the world keeps on spinning…. so let’s get into this week’s forecast:

Big ASTRO Transits:
Sunday, March 30: Neptune enters Aries (after 14 years in Pisces!)
The Dream Hunter: Neptune Enters Aries & The Sun transits through the Gate of the Hunter/Huntress (21)
If last week’s eclipse felt like a lightning bolt through your perception of reality, this week marks the beginning of an even bigger shift in the cycles of time -one that’s going to ripple through our lives for years to come:
Neptune, the great cosmic dreamweaver, is leaving Pisces after 14 years and stepping into the fiery, self-determined realm of Aries on March 30th. Meanwhile, the Sun moves through Human Design Gate 21, known as the Gate of the Hunter/Huntress, bringing a potent theme of sovereignty, control, and the pursuit of our desires.
So, what does it mean when the planet of illusion, spirituality, and transcendence meets the sign of raw instinct and bold action?
Neptune Leaves Pisces: The End of an Era
For the past 14 years, Neptune has been at home in Pisces, the sign of dreams, intuition, and boundlessness. This transit has amplified collective spirituality, creativity, and empathy- but it has also blurred the lines between truth and illusion. Think of the rise of mass media narratives, the explosion of digital escapism, and the ways we’ve all grappled with discernment in a world of misinformation. Neptune in Pisces has been a tide pulling us into the collective unconscious, urging surrender, compassion, and faith in the unseen.
But now, the dream is shifting. Neptune in Aries ignites the fire of individual vision. The veil of Pisces is lifting, and we’re being asked to define our own truth, to take what we’ve learned about oneness and apply it to our personal path. This is no longer about losing ourselves in the ocean…. it’s about walking forward as the hero of our own myth.
Neptune in Aries: A New Era of Spiritual Pioneering
When Neptune moves into Aries, the dreamy, dissolving nature of Neptune meets Aries’ warrior-like energy. This is a bold new era of spiritual independence, where we’re being called to forge our own connection to the divine, rather than rely on external structures or ideologies. Expect to see:
A rise in personal spiritual leadership. Instead of seeking external gurus, more people may feel empowered to trust their own intuition and experience as sacred.
A shift in collective inspiration. Aries thrives on movement and momentum—this could mark an era where spirituality is less about passive meditation and more about action, embodiment, and courageous expression.
The end of passive dreaming, the beginning of active creation. Neptune in Pisces may have encouraged surrender, but Aries says, “Enough waiting—make it happen.”
There’s an undeniable fire here, and it’s up to us to wield it wisely. Neptune in Aries can also bring heightened ideological conflicts, spiritual egotism, or disillusionment with old belief systems. The challenge? To embrace personal power without falling into self-righteousness.

The Sun in Human Design Gate 21: Claiming Sovereignty
As Neptune crosses this cosmic threshold between Pisces and Aries this season of the ram, the Sun is moving through Human Design Gate 21, known as the Gate of the Hunter/Huntress.
The energy this week is all about control, authority, and self-sufficiency. And it’s aligning perfectly with the bold individualism of Neptune’s shift into Aries. Gate 21 speaks to our relationship with power: how we claim it, how we wield it, and where we may still be giving it away.
With this energy in play, ask yourself:
Where am I taking ownership of my path, and where am I waiting for permission?
Am I in control of my resources (time, energy, finances), or is something external dictating my choices?
How can I step into leadership in my own life, without trying to dominate others?
This week is about realizing that personal power isn’t about controlling everything, it’s about mastering yourself. Gate 21’s highest expression is a healthy sense of sovereignty, where we trust our own instincts without needing external validation.
Gate 21 in the Gene Keys: From Control to True Authority
Gene Key 21 moves through the Shadow of Control, to the Gift of Authority, and finally to the Siddhi of Valor. It is deeply tied to themes of power, sovereignty, and the ability to surrender to a higher order of leadership.
The Shadow of Control
At the Shadow level, Gate 21 clings to control. This can be over people, outcomes, or external circumstances. This energy is often fueled by fear, especially the fear of losing independence or security. The need to control can manifest as dominance, manipulation, or a deep resistance to trusting others.
In relationships, this shadow can show up as possessiveness or the inability to let things flow naturally. In the workplace, it can manifest as micromanagement or a refusal to delegate. The irony is that the more one tries to control life, the more stress and resistance is created.
The key to transcending this shadow is realizing that true power is not about force, it’s about trust.
The Gift of Authority
As one softens the grip of control, the Gift of Authority emerges. This is not authority based on force, but on inner strength, integrity, and wisdom. True authority does not seek to overpower others. Instead, it inspires trust and respect.
This Gift is about self-sovereignty: the ability to lead from a place of clarity and purpose. It is the energy of someone who knows their worth, understands their role, and steps into leadership without ego.
People who embody this Gift often become natural leaders, not because they demand power, but because they carry the presence of someone who can be relied upon. They recognize that authority is not about controlling others, but about being a clear and grounded force that others can look to for guidance.
The Siddhi of Valor
At its highest frequency, Gate 21 transforms into Valor: the purest form of courage. This is not the courage to fight, but the courage to surrender to life’s greater intelligence.
At this level, there is no need to control or lead, only a deep trust in the flow of existence. Valor is the energy of those who have released all fear, who understand that power is not something to be held onto, but something that moves through us when we are aligned with truth.
This is the path of the spiritual warrior; the one who no longer seeks control because they have mastered themselves. In this state, life leads the way, and the individual simply follows with an open heart and unwavering faith.
How to Navigate This Week’s Energy
Reclaim Your Vision. With Neptune moving into Aries, it’s time to stop dreaming and start doing. What visions have been floating in your subconscious that are ready for action? Write them down, say them out loud, and take a step toward them.
Own Your Power. The Sun in Gate 21 invites us to be the hunter, not the hunted. Identify one area where you can take back control. It could be anything- your schedule, your creative energy, or your boundaries in relationships.
Stay Aware of the Shadow Side. Neptune in Aries can fuel spiritual ego, and Gate 21 can be prone to power struggles. Be mindful of where your desire for independence turns into stubbornness, and where your confidence may cross into control.
Channel Aries Energy Wisely. Aries is a sign of courage and initiation. If you feel a new impulse stirring, don’t ignore it. But before you charge forward, ground yourself in clarity. What’s the long-term vision, not just the immediate reaction?
Final Thoughts: A Call to Brave New Beginnings
This week marks a powerful threshold. We’re stepping out of the dreamy, passive waters of Neptune in Pisces and into the bold fire of Neptune in Aries. Meanwhile, the Sun in Gate 21 reminds us that true power is about self-mastery, not external control.
It’s a time to claim our path, trust our instincts, and step forward with courage. The Wheel of the Year turns, and the call of the huntress is clear:
This is your journey. Own it.
I’ll see you again next week: Mercury & Venus are stationing direct, the sun is transiting through the Human Design gates of Shock (51) & Growth (42), and we’ll be basking in our first non-eclipsed lunation in quite sometime: the Full Pink Moon in Libra.
